The Safe Place Scheme is for people that might become scared, lost, worried or unwell whilst out and about in Swindon.
 
Just look out for the Safe Place sign below in the windows of participating organisations and businesses and there will be people ready to help you when you show your card.

The video was Produced, written, directed and filmed by Dave Pike at One Step Ahead on location in Swindon.

One Step Ahead Theatre Group Actors: Gareth Ackrill, Luke Parker, Phillip Pantin, Frank James, Veronica James and Iris Bartle.

One Step Ahead Theatre Group have also produced a short two part play which they perform live to highlight the problems encountered by people with Learning Disabilities when using health services, and advising on good practice. This has been well received at different awareness days and is an ongoing project along with many others.
