Energy2 are currently working with Job Centre Plus to help people with
learning difficulties who have been unemployed for over 2 years to find
paid work and come off of benefits. Contrary to popular belief, there
are no grants available from the Job Centre to individuals to buy
interview clothes and most of the people using Energy2 cannot afford to
buy any. We all know that 1st impression counts, so we are asking
colleagues if they have any unwanted interview style clothes to pass
them to us. Both male and female outfits of all sizes are required as
well as coat hangers. Energy2 is based in Cheney Manor Industrial Estate
and reception is open Monday to Thursday from 830-3pm - please drop by
with any donations or call 548060 if you would like us to collect from a
town centre office. Please help us support these people and de-clutter your wardrobes at the same time!
